Forestry Clearance & Thinning

Scope of Works:The project involved removing dead and diseased trees to improve overall forest health and mitigate potential risks. Softwood trees were felled and chipped for biomass production, ensuring that the materials were repurposed for renewable energy. Additionally, hardwood trees were felled, stacked, and removed for reclaimable timber products. Specialised machinery was utilized to efficiently manage the site while minimising environmental impact. The work was completed on schedule, enhancing the forest’s biodiversity and providing resources for sustainable use.

Equipment used: 14 T forestry spec’d Excavators, Whole tree chipper and tractor & timber trailer.
